5.0 out of 5 stars From Credit Repair to Credit Millionaire
This book opened many doors for me. I did not realize that company credit cards were not listed on your credit report. My credit score was 570 when I first read the book. My credit report was 16 pages. according to the credit report I had a judgement from a tax lien on a property I did not own. I had a new Ford Truck that I did not own. Loans on two Mobile Homes I...

I received this book as a gift and I'm glad I didn't have to shell out the high price it costs. I've spent less money for really worthwhile books and tons of time on free credit-building websites with forums that ACTUALLY help people get business credit or repair their credit.

I received this book as a gift and I'm glad I didn't have to shell out the high price it costs. I've spent less money for really worthwhile books and tons of time on free credit-building websites with forums that ACTUALLY help people get business credit or repair their credit.

This book does not.

(The idea of being a credit millionaire is very tempting, it sounds like it's much easier to borrow a million dollars than to save it up over years and years, possibly to invest in a business or real estate. The truth is, after talking to quite a few true multi-millionaire real estate investors and entrepreneurs, they all agree that following some of the ideas in this book can show you how to easily lose not only all of your borrowed money but everything you owned BEFORE you took out massive loans. Please consider yourself warned, I know of at least 2 families (1 was a friend, the other through our Church) that have lost everything doing exactly what is described in this book. I was appalled that the author included these 'techniques' in this book.)

Personally, I have had 2 years of experience fighting bad credit because someone stole my identity (Always use a diamond-cut shredder on important documents!!) and have been to HELL and back with the credit card companies, trying to get my business credit back up to par while managing a growing business and family.

While fighting to get my business credit back up, I had a small arsenal of credit books and resources at my disposal. Would this book have helped? Sorry, no. This book rambles on and on and talks about secrets that are never shared (trust me, I couldn't find these darn secrets anywhere). And there are even a few glaring mistakes in the book. Last time I was at my lawyer's office, I brought the book and asked him if these indeed were mistakes as I thought, and he laughed and said "yeah, that could definitely do some damage." That was the final nail in the coffin.

I really wish this book could be better and I feel bad, but I simply cannot give it any more than 1 star - I hope the author learns from this book and makes something better next time, at least not about credit. To everyone else, find cheaper, better made books by experts (I and others will agree Dana Neal has the best credit book out there) and also go to google and type in Bankrate and if you find the web site I did (it should be first in the results) well, you can thank me later :D

Also, beware of many (if not all) of the 5 STAR reviews. If you do a few minutes of snooping, you'll find that most of the "reviewers" are friends of the author.

What a joke.

1.0 out of 5 stars Not worth the price - way to long., April 1, 2006
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: From Credit Repair to Credit Millionaire (Paperback)
I have purchased a number of books about credit. All are better (and shorter) than this one. While not a lawyer, I have won cases agains all three credit reporting agencies -- so I know a little about this subjet. The author says she is a lawyer, yet this book is not that useful. There are many other books on Amazon that are better than this.

This book was frustrating to read. In each chapter the author said that she would tell us a secret. Then, after 10-20 pages, never did disclose that secret. Each chapter reads like this. First, there is a big build up. Then you read, waiting for the big ah-ha -- which never comes.

The information is this book is OK, but the author has too much filler. And she takes too long to get to the point. Lastly, the price is way to high. Almost any book on credit has a lower price, is shorter, and gets to the point.

Save your money and your time, buy something else.

Loans on two Mobile Homes I have never seen. Compromised settlements on credit cards I did not have. I had been trying to get these cleared for two years. With guidance from the book I was able to get most of it cleared. I had over a million dollars in assets but I could get a Real estate loan. I am in the process of shifting all of my credit cards to business cards. Now that I have cleared my credit report I have a fico score of 711 and going up when I clear everthing. I have $100,000 of available credit on business credit cards. This book keeps you clear of the credit repair sharks.

1.0 out of 5 stars Same info available for free, November 16, 2007
This review is from: From Credit Repair to Credit Millionaire (Paperback)
I want to expand my business credit, so I read the book. Verdict? REQUEST CREDIT INFORMATION FOR FREE FROM EQUIFAX "Building a Better Credit Record" [maybe experian and trans union may provide a packet as well]. They will mail you a packet that can impress. If it doesn't impress you then neither will this book. There are not really any points that go beyond what equifax can explain for free. I recommend TRYING to talk to a real person [I know], or internet request information from one of the credit agencies.

I am 25 and on credit accounts alone have over $20k unsecured.

DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY AS I DID. THIS BOOK WAS MISLEADING; IT DID NOT GIVE ANY NEW INFORMATION ON HOW TO GET FROM CREDIT REPAIR TO CREDIT MILLIONAIRE. SHE SIMPLY TOOK PAGES FROM PRACTICAL INFORMATION MOST PEOPLE ARE AWARE OF. IF YOU ARE SMARTER THAN A 4TH GRADER DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY.

1.0 out of 5 stars The owrst customer service--oops no customer service, January 20, 2008
This review is from: From Credit Repair to Credit Millionaire (Paperback)
The worst customer service on the planet. Worst, I guess I really mean NO customer service. Seems to only be interested in taking our money. If you pay her...you'll never hear from her---even the support ticket system does not work.

5.0 out of 5 stars Most valuable credit information I've found to date, February 10, 2005

This review is from: From Credit Repair to Credit Millionaire (Paperback)
Before reading Donna's book, I had two major credit cards and a home mortgage. When I needed money, I had very limited resources. Donna's recommendations have enabled me to build $100,000 in additional credit availability and increase my credit score through a systematic approach to handling credit, all within just a few months.

I have read several books on improving credit scores, but this step by step guide is best I have ever studied. However, this has more than a credit repair information. This books is a road map to sucessfully building lines of credit also.

4.0 out of 5 stars Most business Owners Dont Know this, April 20, 2005
This review is from: From Credit Repair to Credit Millionaire (Paperback)
This information is what most small businesses do not have and it could be one of the reasons people run out of capital and fail.
This is real information you can use from a person who has really done it. This book was voted the "Most Useful and Needed" at the Wright Place TV Show's Mothers Day Show. These experienced business women in the audience felt this information was exactly what they needed.

5.0 out of 5 stars Absolutely the Best, October 24, 2005
This review is from: From Credit Repair to Credit Millionaire (Paperback)
This is a truly an amazing book. I immediately applied just one of her techniques and achieved instant results. In a week and half time, I removed two derogatory items from credit report, I was able to raise my credit score by fifty points and it just cost me 3 postage stamps. She lays out very clear steps to follow to improve ones credit. The book offers detailed but easy-to-understand explanations on how credit works and how one should use credit. Donna Fox has truly opened my eyes and set me on the right path. Did I just write that? I sound like an infomercial.
