Grimaud playing is very characteristic and what I find very fresh can also be mannered in the ears of others.
Next comes Beethoven's Tempest Sonata, one of my favorites in the piano repertoire, again a work using a classical form and highly imaginative romantic approaches.
It is a CD that's a permanent fixture in my car's changer, one that I'm always excited to hear when its turn comes around once more.
