Book Description

The gripping conclusion to the Amazon Number One Best-selling Dark Fantasy and Gothic Romance vampire novel CRUXIM and Book III in the DARK GUARDIANS FANTASY SERIES.

Book I: Cruxim (You are Never Alone)
Book II: Creche (Know Thyself)
Book III: Creed (All Things Know Where They Belong)

Vampires and their plague-poxed brethren threaten to drown Europe in a blood-borne wave. At their helm, is Beltran, a vampire whose malicious nature is as black as his many secrets and sins.

Standing between such evil and the destruction of all Cruximkind is Amedeo Aeternus—the immortal half-Cruxim hybrid and dark hunter of the prophecy, the fallen angel Cruor driven on by an unremitting desire for revenge on vampires worldwide.

Along with the Sphinx Sabine and Cruxim Skylar—whose love for him is as fierce as their huntress natures—and a handful of Cruxim, mortals, gargoyles and other mythological creatures, Amedeo the dark angel must make a final stand, leading an epic battle that will end the horrors of his past and create a future for all of Cruximkind. But secrets still haunt him, too. With a battle so bloody on his hands, will the weight of Amedeo's fears for Skylar crush their romance beneath the very Crux their people have suffered for millennia? Or will Amedeo's strength raise his people up to the worship of a new creed, one of liberty, love, and redemption?

An erotic, epic paranormal romance set amid a great war between vampires and angels in 18th Century Europe, the culmination of this critically acclaimed fantasy series is sure to leave dark angel lovers and vampire romance readers breathless.

5.0 out of 5 stars Everything ends but does it end well? July 8, 2014
Format:Kindle Edition
I received a complimentary copy of this novel in exchange for an honest review.

Creed wraps up Karin Cox’s gothic trilogy by perfectly balancing the strongest elements of the previous two books in the series. The angst, darkness and adventure drawn from Cruxim contrasts effectively with the poignant romance that became the focus of Creche as the war between angels and vampires comes to a head. The bibilical mythology that underpins the series also gets some more time centre-stage than in the previous books and some of what we have learned so far is shown to be false and the truth is, by turns, surprising and revealing about the nature of the characters we have come to know and love. Oh, and I did I mention there’s a big fantasy battle in there as well? There is, and it is awesome. Overall, a very satisfying conclusion that will reward those who have been faithfully following this trilogy. You will not be disappointed by the ending. Creed also suggests that there are more directions that the author could take with this world once Amedeo’s story is done. You will be left wanting more.

5.0 out of 5 stars Creed: All Things Know Where They Belong August 22, 2014
Format:Kindle Edition|Verified Purchase
Amedeo and Skylar are star crossed lovers who fight evil vampires and he is after one particular vampire that is very powerful and has an enormous army that they must fight but first they have to band all the cities together to defeat the threat that is hanging over all of them. Skylar has secrets that she must share with Amedeo and is not sure if he will accept her for who she really is. Great reading and fast paced, you want to keep reading and have it go on for longer.

5.0 out of 5 stars a great ending to a good series December 20, 2014
Format:Kindle Edition|Verified Purchase
The first book took a bit of getting used to, understanding the character and time it was written for, progressed a bit slowly, the second book was similar, building on precious characters and adding more layers to story. Cox did the best with this last book, bringing depth to her characters and weaving the different peoples and stries together for a final battle, with some twists at the end to keep readers guessing. Overall, a good series, with a great finish.

5.0 out of 5 stars Truly a dark gothic, Angel vs. Vampire trilogy November 13, 2014
Format:Kindle Edition|Verified Purchase
These books written by Me Cox are so beautifully written. They contain a story that is unique, well thought, and quite engaging. I've read the entire series in three days because it is that good. I have enjoyed the fact that with most novels you can predict what happens next. Not with these characters. Thank you, Karin Cox for such a beautiful, engaging story. Please keep them coming and I will continue to be a huge fan!

5.0 out of 5 stars Hauntingly beautiful final installment June 30, 2014
Format:Kindle Edition
What a fantastic ending to my favorite dark fantasy series. I don't want to give away any spoilers, but there were plenty of surprises that kept me turning the pages. Armedo, Skylar, Sabine and all of Cruxim-kind and other immortal creatures had to endure many trials and tribulations. Secrets were revealed, love was lost and found, and the author told it all in a way that left me breathless. Bravo!

5.0 out of 5 stars Beautiful closure. June 30, 2014
By Mint

Ame has grown so much and I love his change. I love that he (finally) accepted his feelings, his fate. I'm so happy for Ame he finally found peace within him.

So much has revealed in this book, it kept me on my toes. Secrets about the Swans, about Skylar. When I thought I could finally breath, another surprise came.

Love that they united everyone for the battle. The new creed, mortals, Cruxims, Hybrids. No Creche. No Crux. No Council. Just comrades.

And nice nice closure. Every open end closed. All those clues from book 1 and 2 answered. Real beautiful closure for the final installment.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great series August 14, 2014
By Penny

This book was awesome, if you haven't read this series you should. I was worried about how this book would end after the first two but I was pleasantly surprised. There are still all of the twists and turns and there are some sad endings too but the way Ame's life ended was great. I love the entire series, great writing.
