The Creek Destiny 2 is, admittedly, a fairly expensive integrated amplifier. But at this price, it is one of the few dual mono units that also has a subwoofer RCA output and a class A / passive, I believe, preamp section. This thing just sounds fabulous - excellent low level detail, slam, ambience, soundstaging. This badboy just sounds so "real". It also has a super clean interface and remote control. A product that you will always be using. Mine is connected to two Epos M12.2 monitors and a fairly small (8" driver) Polk Powered subwoofer (one of the DSWmicropro Series ones) crossing over at about 60Hz. It's all set up in our 'guest bedroom / away, chill out room' where I run Pandora at 24bit/96kHz using a laptop and a Cambridge Audio DacMagic Plus. I like to play my music fairly softly, so it's nice to have an amplifier with so much low level dynamics. The sound is always astonishingly good. Unplugged Live Alice in Chains is just like the whole band is packed into but overflowing the entire room's boundaries. I'd give it 7 stars if I could. :)
