Introducing.....,
By Rex Marksmanson "HEYO!" (Long Island, New York) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Creepin on Ah Come Up (Audio CD)
Bone Thugs-N- Harmony, this debut album from Cleveland's finest definetly does not dissapoint. With only 7 tracks (actually its 8 but I dont count the instrumental) it makes for a short, but instant rap classic, up there in the ranks with Eazy-E's "St8 off the streets...". This album contains great songs with a very West coast feel to them,"Thuggish Ruggish Bone", "No Surrender", "Down Foe My Thang", "Creepin on ah come up", "Foe tha love of $" which is the whole album :O) And if that isn't enough Eazy E and DJ Yella both produced this album, with Eazy even appearing on "Foe tha love of money", so pretty much if you love any of Eazy E's albums, then make sure to check out his boys from Cleveland Bone Thugs-N-Harmony.

The album which started "it all".......,
By Daniel (Cali) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Creepin on Ah Come Up (Audio CD)
This is the cd which put the most unique and original style on the map. Before the great E.1999 Eternal, there was this. Containing the hit songs Thuggish Ruggish Bone (a bone classic) and Fo Tha Love Of $ (also a classic), this was Bone's "hungry" album. They were young, angry, and eager, the this album shows it. Uneek only produces 2 cuts on the album, TRB and No Surrender. The beats are hardcore, and simple, as they had not yet reached the pyro-technic skills of E.1999 Eternal yet. The style and lyrics however shocked the world, and Bone became an instant success with this debut, as it peaked at #12 on the charts and sold over 4 million copies. Bone tells their story of "coming up" and taking the world by storm with this style, in the self-titled song "Creepin On Ah Come Up". This quite possibly one of the best hard-core gangsta rap albums ever created, along with Stra8 Outta Compton, The Chronic, etc. Bone was definatly at the hardest on this cd, though the E.1999 Eternal album is much superior. Still gets 5 stars though, cuz of the impact it had on the hip hop nation. A must buy.

This review is from: Creepin on Ah Come Up (Audio CD)
Creepin on ah comeup came out mid 94, and is still played by alot of people, because it has some of their best songs like the clasics ''Thugish rugish bone, ''foe tha love of $'' and of course one of my top 5 bone songs of all time ''no surrender''. Then there is 2 more other songs like ''down foe my thang'' and ''creppin on ah comeup'' the intro is thight also.Bone's style was diferent back then, if you don't know what I mean listen to their ''THUG WORLD ORDER'' cd. Remember this cd is a little bit short so if the price seems a bit to much go get their new ''THUG WORLD ORDER'' or their clasic E. 1999 ETERNAL.
