Bone Thugs n Harmony's first album is as good as it gets.
Drew
In 2000 I got into them and I listened to the 2 singles of this album "Thuggish Ruggish Bone" "Foe tha love of money".
Kurt Angle fan
This is probably my least favorite song but this song is still very good.

This is the cd which put the most unique and original style on the map. Before the great E.1999 Eternal, there was this. Containing the hit songs Thuggish Ruggish Bone (a bone classic) and Fo Tha Love Of $ (also a classic), this was Bone's "hungry" album. They were young, angry, and eager, the this album shows it. Uneek only produces 2 cuts on the album, TRB and No Surrender. The beats are hardcore, and simple, as they had not yet reached the pyro-technic skills of E.1999 Eternal yet. The style and lyrics however shocked the world, and Bone became an instant success with this debut, as it peaked at #12 on the charts and sold over 4 million copies. Bone tells their story of "coming up" and taking the world by storm with this style, in the self-titled song "Creepin On Ah Come Up". This quite possibly one of the best hard-core gangsta rap albums ever created, along with Stra8 Outta Compton, The Chronic, etc. Bone was definatly at the hardest on this cd, though the E.1999 Eternal album is much superior. Still gets 5 stars though, cuz of the impact it had on the hip hop nation. A must buy.

Creepin on ah comeup came out mid 94, and is still played by alot of people, because it has some of their best songs like the clasics ''Thugish rugish bone, ''foe tha love of $'' and of course one of my top 5 bone songs of all time ''no surrender''. Then there is 2 more other songs like ''down foe my thang'' and ''creppin on ah comeup'' the intro is thight also.Bone's style was diferent back then, if you don't know what I mean listen to their ''THUG WORLD ORDER'' cd. Remember this cd is a little bit short so if the price seems a bit to much go get their new ''THUG WORLD ORDER'' or their clasic E. 1999 ETERNAL.

Bone Thugs-N- Harmony, this debut album from Cleveland's finest definetly does not dissapoint. With only 7 tracks (actually its 8 but I dont count the instrumental) it makes for a short, but instant rap classic, up there in the ranks with Eazy-E's "St8 off the streets...". This album contains great songs with a very West coast feel to them,"Thuggish Ruggish Bone", "No Surrender", "Down Foe My Thang", "Creepin on ah come up", "Foe tha love of $" which is the whole album :O) And if that isn't enough Eazy E and DJ Yella both produced this album, with Eazy even appearing on "Foe tha love of money", so pretty much if you love any of Eazy E's albums, then make sure to check out his boys from Cleveland Bone Thugs-N-Harmony.

THis started It all. The Bone craze, harmonic melodies, effortless flows, the chemistry, all off the heezy. This cd only consists of 8 songs ( two skits and intros and one instrumental).
The cd is still that hard bone thugs music with fresh production people have grown to love. Their first video song Thuggish Ruggish Bone was so raw that it hooked many people on first listen including me. No Surrender May be the best song on the album arguably. Tight Chorus beat lyrics and flow. A Well Constructed song. Down Foe My Thing and the Title Track are also well worth listening to.
The opus of the album has to be the Eazy E collaboration Foe Tha Love Of Money. It definitely has that laid back West Coast Influence with some great flows by Eazy, Layzie and Krayzie Bone. Tight Chorus too.
There Are No Bad Songs on the disc and you will never get bored of it Guaranteed. A must Have. Innovative Hip Hop Classic.

I bought this CD about 8 yars ago when I got hooked with Bone Thugs-N-Harmony, along with one of the greatest album of all time, E. 1999 Eternal. After listening to E. 1999 Eternal I put this CD in and listened all the way through. Intro is tight, and so are all 5 songs. Thuggish Ruggish Bone is Bone rapping slower than their normal speed, but lyrics and the beats are tight as hell. Next up is No Surrender; my favorite song of all time. Is it that great? Fu* k yes! The song paints such a vivid image of desperate youth. It's like fu* k it. I'm going all out till they kill me. It's beyond that, but you get the idea. It's impossible to describe all of the stuff going on in this track. It's layered, it's lightning fast, and it's Parental Advisory Explicit Lyrics. While being hard-hitting to the extreme, it also is done so smoothly that it defines how a song can be both hard and smooth at the same time. It's soooo great. Foe tha Love of Money the seventh track has the latest and greatest Eazy-E verse that just forces you to follow with his flow. "So I dash, and I ducks, and I hides behind a tree. Making sure the motherfu* *ers dont see me." Just great. Down Foe my Thang is youthful and heavily bass-lined. Nicely done. Creepin on ah Come Up, the title track, is just as great as down foe my thang.
This is my 3rd favorite album of all time. 1st is Doggystyle and 2nd is E. 1999 Eternal also by Bone Thugs, but anyway; I guarantee you that if you are a rap fan, you'll love this album. No Surrender itself would make the album a Must-Buy. It's one of the greatest hardcore rap songs of all time, and my favorite of all time. Go to the store and buy this if you don't own it. Right now.
