Editorial Reviews

From the Author

"I was around ten years old when I had my first supernatural experience. Thirty years later, my ghosts have returned and they are creepier than ever. I've seen full-bodied apparations, felt a dark presence practically breathing down my neck, and everyday I work with a ghost who seems more curious than anything." ~ Jeff Bennington

Now that I write in the horror/supernatural/mystery/thriller genre, I just had to put together a collection like this. Do I believe in ghosts? Read this 3-book collection and find out for yourself!

I was lucky enough to get a review copy before publication, and I have to say, I was even more freaked out than when I read Creepy!

This is a fantastic, chilling and quite beautiful collection of ghost stories and real ghost tales. The short stories are wonderfully blended with the real ghost stories, and as with Creepy 1, I had to stop reading when my husband fell asleep for fear I wouldn't sleep myself!

Jeff has brought some very gifted and interesting people together to tell their real events and spin their fictional tales, and the collection is cracking for it. I would recommend this book highly.

Jay Krow was an excellent contributor to this book too, what an interesting life he must have had. Would love to pick his brains sometime! The true life stories were scary than the fiction stories, as the truth is often a very terrifying concept!

Remember the old adage "the truth is sometimes stranger than fiction?" (Or something similar to that.) Well in this case, the truth is creepier than fiction. The second go-round for this series is just as interesting as the first, and offers some different perspectives on super-natural encounters.

This collection is different from your usual melting-pot of ghost stories/tales thrown in together. It is that difference that makes it worth your time and money to check it out. Just leave a light or two on.

A fine collection of both fiction and non-fiction short stories for the lover of the paranormal genre.

This reviewer personally enjoyed the fiction stories better however remember when reading the stories that sometimes "the truth" is stranger than fiction.

If you enjoy the paranormal genre or just want to read a couple of scary stories, then go ahead and grab this book. Place it on your nightstand and read a story or two before you go to bed. Just make sure you leave the video recorder on in your room to record any visitors that come to see you middle of the night!

This reviewer rates this book 4.1 stars (rounded to 4 stars). A 4.0 rating from this reviewer classifies Creepy Book 2 as a "Quality Read".

What a perfect time of year to be reading this chilling collection of stories that will make the hairs on the back of your neck stand at attention! Thank you Mr. Bennington for putting together in one incredible collection these stories, some true some brilliantly born of incredible talent from authors who are now shining brightly on my literary radar.

The very first story, THE MANCHESTER HAUNTING written by Mr. Bennington, was a beautiful story that left a chill in the air.

THE CREEPER OF WAVERLY HILLS SANATORIUM written by Jay Krow was completely representative of the title of this book~~CREEPY.

The very last story, AT HOME IN DEATH also written by Jay Krow, left more than a chill in the air~~it left a chill in my bones.

Layered between these tales you'll find some great writing that just may take the skeptic right out of you. Well done.

This book was better than the first one. Story telling really gets you into this one. The next time you hear a knock or smell an odor you may not know if it is coming from the past or the here now.

This wasn't as bad as their first offering, but a good third of the book is still advertising. If I wanted advertising, I'd go buy a magazine.
