5.0 out of 5 stars The Best Shaving Cream
This is my husband's favorite shaving cream. He has sensitive skin and needed a cream for close shaves without irritation. This cream gives him the closest shave ever and I can see the difference.

3.0 out of 5 stars A decent shaving cream
I bought this cream as a travel shaving cream for use with a single-blade double-edged razor. It did its job and produced smooth, relatively irritation-free shaves. This review is from: Cremo Cream Astonishingly Superior Shave Cream - 6 oz. (Misc.)
I bought this cream as a travel shaving cream for use with a single-blade double-edged razor. It did its job and produced smooth, relatively irritation-free shaves. It's very different than most shaving creams in that it doesn't produce lather. Its consistency is very similar to soap. It creates an extremely slick, clear layer of soap over your face that allows the blade to glide effortlessly over your stubble. It's very fast to apply (and re-apply for multiple passes), so it's great for those who want to use a DE razor but don't want to mess with shaving brushes and lather. So why do I only give it three stars? I just never got excited about shaving with Cremo Creme. It doesn't even feel like I'm really shaving, as I'm just gliding a blade over a slippery, fake-citrusy-smelling-soapy layer. Also, it doesn't cushion the blade very well so ingrown hairs and razor burn are far more likely than with normal creams and foams (especially shaving against the grain). From a purely functional standpoint, however, Cremo Cream does a great job. If you're a cheapskate who wants to shave for the least possible cost, it doesn't get much cheaper than Cremo Cream and a DE razor.
