This game reminds me of Little Big Planet for PS3. Instead of it being a sock boy it's a paper boy Lol.

- Nice Graphics
- Smooth Gameplay
- Great for kids
- Easy to play.
- Addicting.

CON's:
- Controls could be better (Not to bad)

Conclusion:
This is a great game for people of all ages. Just like Little Big Planet for PS3 it is fun and addicting. Hope you guys enjoy.

This game is excellent. It has a great art style, great replay value, great level design, and just has that nostalgic feel from the side scrollers from the NES and SNES days. While some people hat the cutsie art style i enjoy it. Its bright, colorful, and actually gives you something to look at rather than just going through a level with a one color background. And for the price on the amazon appstore its a steal because on google play, as of 4/5/13, its $2.99. Another great game from Crescent Moon Games.

Ok so here is basically what paper monsters is:

1. take the HD graphics of little planet
2. add concepts of various platformers (mario bros. donkey kong, little big planet etc.)
3. add hidden areas to explore, outfits to buy, additional modes to unlock

and you get paper monsters.

But that is the simple way of putting it.

Paper monsters is basically the perfect child of say nintendo + Media Molecule.

the gameplay is simple; move with a virtual stick(or switch to classic pad) and press the right side of the screen to jump. You go through various levels and collect grey buttons, the hard to find gold buttons and the 3 golden paper clips. (Gold buttons are used to purchase new outfits for your little hero)

but the gameplay is not just simply that. At the end of each world you will have to face the boss in creative ways (one boss you fight is underwater so you are turned into a submarine with torpedoes to shoot at the boss) and with little things such as revolving platforms, crumbling platforms bomb-able blocks and hidden ares to find more gold buttons and such. Paper monsters adds a lot of variety.

So all in all this is the platform for a portable that I have been looking for. A Game that actually wants to be considered console quality in the eyes of gamers everywhere.

if more mobile games were this good, I'd probably become an Android/ios only gamer.

5/5

By first appearances this is a simple platformer. However, it stands out for its rich, creatively styled, colorfully cute graphics, sound effects, and music. Other game options are a plus like character customization and mini games. No ingame purchases, thankfully! Lighting in some levels (submarine) are particularly fun. Difficulty is a easy, but the journey is no less enjoyable. All in all, Paper Monsters is a delight!

This game is not just for children. In fact, most kids won't enjoy it as much as adults because of the subtle references to American pop culture of the last 30 years. But you get all of the nostalgia of the 1980's, with all of today's awesome graphics and smooth control interfaces.

On the surface, the game looks very similar to Mario Brothers. True, it has buttons instead of coins, but the teleport tubes are there, and it even has mushrooms. As you play, you'll be reminded of Calvin and Hobbes (monsters), Bomber Man (another foe), Donkey Kong (the movement, playing field and controls) and many other old-school cultural and video games. I like it better than Mario, though, because there aren't as many levels, and it won't take me months to get to the end of the game.

The first level includes tutorial screens. Be sure to take the time to read the screens as they pop up so you can learn how to use the controls and gain useful tips. If you don't want to read them, you can jump over them. If you find the three paperclips hidden in each level, you get a bonus. That's very practical for a paper world! LOL

From the main menu, there is a little dressing room where you can change outfits. It's always nice to be able to change your clothes to suit the day's planned activities (or your mood), isn't it?

Games offered by Amazon Digital Services, Inc. tend to include wonderful graphics tinged with humor, and "Paper Monsters" is no exception. There are so many great things about the game. You control the game by holding your device in your hands, and using your thumbs to create action. The interface is very responsive to touch. The worse thing I can say about this game is that the music is a little annoying because it is repetitive. Since the music can be muted, that is really a non-issue.

This Free App of the Day (FAOTD) is truly a treasure in what can sometimes be a junk pile of FAsOTD. If it's free download it, get it now and explore it later. You will be glad you've added it to your library. If it's not free, then this is one of those rare games worth paying for.

Who knew that paperwork could be so much fun?

Extremely highly recommended!

Very fun, clever game. I love to play it and so do my kids. Buy this game if you liked the 2d video games in the 80's and 90's.

Puzzle games are fun sometimes, but other times you just want a fun, brainless action game. Sure, it looks a little young for me (numerically I've been an adult for quite a while) but I don't care cause it's fun, and not too easy to find all those paperclips. And he looks so cute when he spins on his double jump. The dragon run game doesn't work so well, it'll be fine for a while and then he just won't jump. But the actual game is good. :)
