Canadian guitarist Les Sabler has launched a most impressive new project with CRESCENT SHORES, filled with rich, delectable nylon string guitar performances, many of which were inspired by his current home on Florida's West Coast. It also has a most interesting history behind it, i.e. many of the tracks have been repurposed from 1991 recording sessions in Richard Elliot's Tampa studio. These tracks were put on ice due to some business reversals, but now the time has come for them to be polished and reworked with totally fresh material, into one tasty, uber-listenable collection of Smooth Jazz. The first radio single, the title cut, sets the tone... melodic, tropical, engaging... with ten tracks to follow, including Les' cool vocals on the Mark-Almond gem "Lonely Girl" and the original, Michael Franks-esque, "Mirror of Your Heart" only amplify the vibe. CRESCENT SHORES is an exotic audio excursion! ~Scott O'Brien

Excellent laid back jazz you would expect from Les Sabler. I will need to order this through Amazon, as I live in Australia, and not available in the retail outlets where I come from. Love Lonely Girl, and Fragile is a familiar tune. All very smooth tracks.
