This video is pretty good compared to what is out there, i have been coaching now for six years from tee ball up to minor boys (9-10) and it has helped me breakdown certain areas of the defense. It has a little more detail and covers a little more for your buck, i would recommend this video for new coaches and expierienced coaches as well. Shows the catchers role and gets detailed on signals etc. Show some signals for base coaches as well. Compared to other videos it covers a little more detail than just the basics. The "school of offense" is pretty good too in that it covers batting well it also goes over pitching and the pitcher covering other bases. Another recommended video is the Tom Emanski "teaching the mecahnic of the major league swing II" if show some pretty good tips and drills to help out the batters. STAY away from the Tom Emanski's Defensive Drill Video" it is too advanced and is for players that have good skill already in which alot of kids need more basic drills. The "59 minute baseball video is good too, but as you move up in the ranks most videos dont cover alot of the defensive postions and how to play them they just show basic drills. I have about 25 videos, baseball and have paid alot of attention to detail and you''ll see that there are more bad ones than good ones. One more video which is decent is the"Youth League Baseball: PITCHING" by Sport Amercia. It utilizes kids instead of adults to show the drills which helps when you shwo somwe of the students what it look like!
