I've recently started flossing regularly because my dentist said i could avoid an upcoming cavity or two if i did. So... just about every other day i started flossing and asked my wife to buy glide as i've used it before and liked how strong it is (this stuff never breaks, rips, or gets little strands).

I just went to the dentist today for a cleaning and although she said my teeth/gums looked wonderful and she could tell i've been flossing, when i asked for a glide sample, she said they don't carry it. She got real quiet, almost to a whisper and said: "it doesn't work" and went on to say that it's kiddie floss... She explained that because it glides so easily it doesn't pick up much of the plaque or other objects that normal "crappy" floss does (I added the crappy part, not her).

So now i feel like i'm in a predicament... I really hate all other flosses, not because they don't glide, but because they're not strong. I figure if i'm going to take the time to floss, i should be using a product that works the best. But, you can't argue with results, my teeth impressed the dentist after i had been pretty much only using Glide the last 6 months. What to do...

I really liked this product. Dental floss tends to shred for me, which I find incredibly annoying. The Glide Dental Floss didn?t do that. The floss glided so easily between my teeth, I sometimes wondered if it was doing its job, but it did. The floss worked very well. I?d purchase this product, as well as recommend it to friends and family.

Glide is probably the best dental floss I've ever used and, as a dental student, I've used a lot of them. True to its name, this product does GLIDE between the teeth smoothly and easily, without cutting into your gums. I put it through its paces, using Glide after eating ribs and corn on the cob--and it was up to the challenge, managing to get most of the food particles from between my teeth without splitting into a million little strings. I also really liked its compact size, which is perfect for a jean's or a shirt pocket. My only complaint: MAKE IT FLAVORED!!

The Glide Dental Floss is far superior to any other dental floss currently on the market. For once, the manufacture's advertising is correct. No shredding and it slides easily. It's a pleasure to use. We've tried about every kind of dental floss and found problems with all of them. We're switching to Glide Dental Floss.

Glide Dental Floss is an excellent product. It's strong, smooth, and flat to fit between teeth. Really does ""glide"". Doesn't flake, shred, or break. (It's what you use to remove those other flosses that do!) I would definitely recommend Glide to friends and family. The best floss on the market.

I had hoped to purchase the 100 meter container of floss. Unfortunately it appears that the only length it comes in was 50 m. This was disappointing and I wondered if the 100 m product was available.

Apparently the manufacturer has changed the packaging on this floss, from a long cylinder to the box-like dispenser that most floss comes in. I wanted the cylinder and the picture on Amazon shows that, but I got the two box dispensers in a blister pack. Not a major problem as long as the floss is the same, but the picture should be changed.

This is simply great floss, unlike other brands (Johnson and Johnson) it doesn't rip your gums apart, nor does it snag on your teeth (it is slippery, some people dislike it for that but it works perfect for me).

One of the greatest things about glide is that it's wide, so all the disgusting stuff between your teeth are removed instantly (upon using the floss that is, this isn't some sort of ray gun). Regardless, this floss is designed excellently!

One of the other great things about this floss is that unlike Johnson and Johnson it doesn't tear to shreds in your mouth (unless you are using the floss incorrectly, which would be strange since I'm not sure how many different ways there are of using floss).

Again, great product!

Try the newer version of Glide Floss called "Comfort Plus" Glide Floss instead. It does as good a cleaning job as the older version here; but the "Comfort Plus" version is much softer on the edges, it won't cut into your gum or lip as much.

I was really surprised when I opened the floss to see how thick it was. I have had trouble in the past using thick floss so I was skeptical. I tried it and it really worked great! I had no trouble using it at all and it's a small enough box that I carry it in my purse! I will definitely recommend buying this product!
