5.0 out of 5 stars AWESOME TOOTHPASTE!!!, February 3, 2006

This review is from: Crest Extra Whitening Toothpaste, Fluoride, with Tartar Protection, Clean Mint, Value 2-Pack!, 2 ct. (Health and Beauty)
Is your mouth filled with germs, plaque, and tartar? Well in my book, that is a crime. And how do you fight such injustice? Through Crest Value Pack Extra Whitening Toothpaste With Tartar Protection, Clean Mint - 2 tubes!

This is the best toothpaste in the history of tooth pasting. I use it every morning and every night. I am also sure to use it if I suspect that there is a possibility that I may be kissed. Believe me, it is worth the effort!

The best way to use it is to wet your toothbrush FIRST, and then spread a dab of this on it. (Then I like to dab a bit more water on it personally, but that is just a quirk of mine since there is no logical reason to do so.) Then take the brush and start working it on your teeth. I like to start with the left side of my mouth, rubbing it back and forth in zig-zag motion. The commercials all say that you should rub it in a circular motion, but I have found that to be an unrealistic expectation of the capabilities of the human wrist.

Then I work it over to the right side, and brush for a while. Finally, I spit the stuff out, wash my mouth with water, and spit again. The spitting part is kind of gross, but it is all a part of it so you just have to deal with it as best you can.

If I really think that there may be some upcoming smooching, then I proceed to use the mouthwash, preferrably the sting-my-mouth-really-bad kind.

Now the die-hard tooth cleaners would use dental floss at this time, but I am not a big flossing fan myself. I find it to be too messy, tedious, annoying, and bloody. In all honesty, it is a wretched affair. I prefer to just have all that stuff drilled off at the dentist's office once a year. It's not that much fun, but I prefer it to flossing.

But getting back to the toothpaste, this one is the absolute best. This one comes in a paste, which I adore. I absolutely loathe gels. It also comes with a clean, minty taste. Some people like the kind that makes your mouth tastes like pine needles, but to that I say, "Ech! Ech I say!"

This has the screw-on cap, which is definitely the way to go. "That's old technology!", some people say. Those are the same people who prefer the flip-caps. Well I don't like those, personally. They always get a bunch of messy-looking mushy buildup on the outside. Now that can't be very sanitary, can it? Just think about it.

This comes in a double-pack, which is truly awesome. I love this toothpaste so much that it is a real pleasure to get two of them at once in the same box. It also feels great to have that "prepared" feeling that in case you run out of toothpaste, you've still got a whole tube left. That can really ease your nerves.

Best of all, this comes with super-saver shipping. You can't beat that!

So buy this toothpaste today. You won't regret it. And your teeth, gums, and spouse will thank you for it!
