This Le Creuset omelet pan goes from the stovetop or oven to the dining room table. Although not designed for the slight-of-hand, this pan is otherwise thoughtfully constructed. Porcelain enameled cast iron absorbs, retains, and redistributes heat quickly, especially at low settings. The nonreactive, nonstick cooking surface does not absorb flavors and allows for low-fat cooking. And, in keeping with French tradition, the pan is stylish and is available in a variety of colors. To prolong the life of this pan, avoid using metal implements on its nonstick surface, heat it up gradually, use low-to-medium heat when cooking, and cool it down before washing. This omelet pan is hand cast in a one-of-a-kind sand mold and hand finished at the Le Creuset factory in France.

I just had to say, after being disappointed with my Sitram Cybernox pan, I went out and bought this pan. I paid less, yet totally got my money's worth. It really works great. I made a perfect Spanish omelet, Korean pancakes, cooked my flour tortillas and I plan to make Japanese Okonomiyaki. Next, I will buy the whole set. If you love to cook and love quality, le creuset is for you.

I've had this pan for over 4 years and it is by far my favorite thing to use. I never even put it away, I use it so often. It's great for everything from eggs to tarte-tatin. This pan is durable, attractive, and just the right size for most of my cooking needs. And, since I can even stick it in the oven if I need to, it's pretty much flawless.
