This trivet is wonderful - virtually indestructible. And it's absolutely beautiful, too! My friend from Brittany said her grandmother had the same exact trivet when she was a child. I am sure this one will last me a very long time.

i use it all the time, and if i want to serve something at the table, it's pretty enough to still look elegant. works great with the 5 quart dutch oven, 10" skillet, buffet casserole, etc. (the 2 quart heart casserole and small saucepan are a little too small to sit well on it.)
