Silicone brush vs britles,
By Travel Enthusiast (International) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Le Creuset BB0723-67 Amazon.com Exclusive 3-Piece Silicone Brush Set, Cherry Red (Kitchen)
I prefer silicone brushes over the normal bristle kind because they always maintain their shape, whereas the other kind frays. Also sauce or basting liquid do not stick or remain on the silicone as it does with bristle brushes. Second, the silicone brush is softer and easier to control when brushing on an egg wash, etc. Third, silicone brushes are so much easier to clean, especially when trying to remove greasy liquids. I love to cook, but do not enjoy the clean up. Any product that makes that part easier is always a big win with me and you will enjoy how easy it is to use and clean up a silicone brush.

2 brushes and condiment spoon does not equal an exclusive 3 piece BRUSH set,

This review is from: Le Creuset BB0723-67 Amazon.com Exclusive 3-Piece Silicone Brush Set, Cherry Red (Kitchen)
I had originally ordered this item 6 weeks ago and was sent the smaller two brushes and a condiment spoon (the smallest most pathetic useless utensil I can think of at the moment). I called Amazon and was emailed a return label and the same product was ordered again by customer service. Today the same items arrived at my house. Customer service was of no use and could not guarantee I would ever get the item i wanted so I will be returning it again and trying to buy the pieces elsewhere. Good luck.
