Terrific silicone tool by Le Creuset. Slightly curved, flattened paddle shape perfect for stirring soup pots, stir frying in a wok, or serving generous portions of mashed potatoes.

This is a shallow, wide spoon, so it does best in suitable cooking applications for wide, flat spoons, such as stirring gumbo or chili, or it is great in working with stiff foods which won't roll off the edges of the spoon, such as serving stuffing or whipped potatoes, or stirring a hefty batch of cake batter.

Measurements: The bamboo handle is a generous 8 inches long. The silicone head is 3 5/8" at its widest point and 3 1/2" long. It is no more than 1/2 inch deep at its deepest point toward the center of the spoon.

Cons:

* Does not perform well as a serving spoon for some types of food due to its shallow shape (for example, black-eyed peas would need a deeper spoon).

I would recommend hand-washing. Never soak for an extended period of time, as it is not good for the wood. Briefly soak if necessary, then handwash (ideally) and dry.

A terrific heat resistent rounded spatula spoon that cleans all the sides of the bowl. I just love it and ordered 2 more.

I originally got the cherry one and loved it. It's wider than your typical spoonula. I ordered more, however, by my own fault, i did not read/view the colors close enough. I thought the only difference was the color of each one, but the jade one is not smooth like the cherry--it has ridges to look like a bell pepper. Looking closer at the picture, it appears the orange one does too. As i said, my own fault, but just know that they are not all exactly the same except different colors.

Love, love, love this spoon!!! It is the perfect size, i love the wooden handle and its flexible but not too flexible(!!!) spatula. Works well in your Le Creuset oven and everything else! If you rub some oil to the handle it will last forever and will not stain. Highly recommend!

Well made spoonula, no doubt about the quality. But it is too small to be used as a serving spoon, which was why I bought it. Buy the orange (pumpkin) spoon instead, that at least has a larger surface area than this red one. I had been looking for a silicone serving spoon for when I make a casserole type meal in a large frying pan. We've been using a metal spoon and I wanted to get silicone to try and prevent sratching of the pan by the metal spoon. These spoonulas are good for that purpose (except for the size issue with this red one).

I regretted buying this almost as soon as I ordered it. After receiving it, the "oh, jeez" feeling was reinforced - a cute pumpkin - what was I thinking? So, after a couple days I decided to try it out. It's deceiving in a good way, the shape is good for getting every scrap of food out of mixing bowls or pans and the "spoon" allows me to scoop, too. The spatula/spoon is flexible but stiff at the same time which is a great combination. Yep, it's silly looking, but I'd buy it again.

When I ordered this spatula (and the red apple and green pepper spatulas), I didn't realize that the spoon was actually shaped like a pumpkin!. This is an adorable and useful addition to my rather large collection of Le Creuset spatulas. Is it perfect for every situation? Certainly not, but it is a nice one to have in any kitchen.

this is a very cute spoonula, I love it's look and orange is the signature color in my kitchen, so it looks great in the crock on my countertop!

This is a very well built silicone spatula you can use with your super expensive Le Creuset pots to make sure you do not scratch them. It looks nice and does what it is supposed to do.
