A Little Too Soft and Flexible,

This review is for the mini spatula. Just received it so can't comment on durability or workmanship. I just used it in the making of chocolate chip cookies and found that the tip is too soft and flexible for any thick substance. I haven't gotten used to it's "quirk" yet and so used too much force to scrape up dough, the tip rebounded the other way and flung dough onto the wall. It was actually pretty funny because I was wondering how come there were little bits of dough all over the wall and counter. So, for some task, it's not great. I doubt it's even competent in scraping every bits of peanut butter from an almost empty jar. So, if you're thinking of buying this for that purpose, be forewarned. On the other hand, it's really nicely made, with a beautiful and comfortable handle, and it's made in USA, how rare is that!

Never thought I'd actually use this,

Received this spatula as a holiday gift. When I first saw it, I thought it would be useless - I was very wrong. It's great for getting that last bit of stuff from the bottom of a jar, and works very well at spreading soft things such as mayo etc. The only thing I'd change is to make it a bit stiffer so it could spread firmer items such as peanut butter.

I love this spatula. But after just a few months usage, it split in two places. I expected more longevity.

I bought this spatula to have something small enough to clean out jars with (peanut butter, mayo, etc). I love the handle. Its rounded handle flairs at the end for a very comfortable grip. Some small spatulas have an equally small handle that makes them hard to use. I don't know if you would want to put it in the dishwasher since the handle is wooden, but I unusually hand wash mine spatulas anyways. I also like the feel of wooden handles.
Pros: - very comfortable handle - wooden handle - silicone head Cons: - Is the wooden handle dishwasher safe?? UPDATE: After some usage I found that the tip really is too flexible cleaning out jars of thick substances like peanut butter. It will work for something like mayo, but that is it. I guess I will have to continue to look for a more general purpose small spatula. If you appreciate this review, let me know with your vote below.

I love these spatulas! I have four different types and sizes of the Le Creuset Silicone spatulas. The cobalt blue is a wonderful, vibrant color.

Le Creuset makes the best silicone spatulas, and this is no exception. They're silicone seems more plyable and slippery than others, which I like. This size is small enough for jars, etc. though like all traditionally shaped spatulas, it doesn't get everything. Very handy to have on hand though.

Very light weight, so easy to use, make my baking so much easier! I bought another spatula at Williams Sonoma, more expensive than this, but probably 100 times harder to use, I hate that one to a point I just want to throw it out of the window when I'm folding. Then after I got this one, the folding process feels so much fun. I can't believe a small tool can make such a dramatic difference:)

I am embarrassed to get so enthused about a spatula. However, years ago I received this spatula for Christmas. After many days of constant use, my spatula began to show signs of wear. I went shopping for a replacement. I tried many other brands. All were a disappointment. Then I went to Amazon and found the exact one. I am so happy to have it. Besides, trust me, great stocking stuffer!
