This review is from: Le Creuset Stoneware 10.75 x 8.5 Inch Deep Dish Baker, Blue (Kitchen)
For this price you can't go wrong. Perfect size for most casseroles, nice and deep, very heavy quality and nice looking to serve with.

5.0 out of 5 stars Wonderful baking dish, March 13, 2007
This review is from: Le Creuset Stoneware 10.75 x 8.5 Inch Deep Dish Baker, Blue (Kitchen)
A high-quality Creuset product! I love it, I've made great dishes with it and its easy to clean with no discoloration/deterioration after mutliple uses. But be warned - Creuset products are on the heavy side. I do not consider this a drawback (this is a sign of quality and durability) but if you have never owned a Creuset product, it is something to be aware of.

5.0 out of 5 stars Deep Dish Baker, March 6, 2010

I enjoy using this baker, with the lid it is almost as good as a dutch oven.I have baked Scallop Potatoes,Lasagna,Enchiladas,Cowboy potatoes, and numerous other dishes. The dish cleans up easily after the messiest dishes.,I was worried it would take some soaking after the Lasagna. The dish cleaned with minimal effort, I have not put the dish or the lid in the Dish Washer. I have put the dish in the Fridge and Microwave, and I learned the hard way that you cannot take the dish from the fridge to the Oven. It shatters the Stoneware to have extreme temperature changes. I also broke the dish by dropping it on accident ,it shatters easily . Use carefully and hand wash,it is a wonderful baker. Highly recommended.

I own over a dozen different pieces of the stoneware; it is a great product for the money. A lot less money than Emile Henry. Yes it is made in Thailand but I think Le Crueset has done a good job in keeping the quality up to their standards.

They need to make an 8" x 8" square pan; the 9" x 9" is very good however some recipes need the 8" square.

5.0 out of 5 stars Love It!, January 8, 2010

My husband and I received this as a Christmas gift a couple of years ago, and it's our first Le Creuset piece. We use it fairly often and it still looks brand new, is very easy to clean and ended up being an unexpected favorite addition for our cooking endeavors. I've been a fan of stoneware for a long time, but this is my first glazed piece. I'm used to "seasoning" my stoneware over time, so this is a nice change for certain dishes.
