This is a quality spoon rest. Not much to it (what you see is what you get) but it is beautiful and high quality, like everything else Le Creuset makes.

I'm very happy with my spoon rest. It is neatly made, looks very upscale. The down side of this spoon rest is that, it needs to be handled with care, since it is easier to break than metal or wooden ones. Our first spoon rest arrived in broken, but they sent a new one immediately after we called. Overall, this is a very nice spoon rest, I would recommend it to all my friends.

I had a large, ugly stainless steel spoon rest. I really hate the trend towards stainless steel - it is marred by the smallest fingerprint and I would have to scrub that stainless steel spoon rest daily with baking soda and water to have any hope of a shine. Running it through the dishwasher sanitized it but did nothing about the stains from cooking, even if it was washed immediately after use.

This spoon rest, although smaller than my other one (that is the -1 star) is much nicer looking. It gives my glass cooktop a much more polished look and cleans up easily and without hassle like any ceramic. The white is pretty, but in hindsight I might have opted for the red since it's much more dramatic.

Overall, I would recommend purchasing a spoon rest you like the look and feel of versus a cheap stand in like I did originally - it's such a focal point in your kitchen that it's worth the extra money to really love it. Otherwise, you just end up buying two spoon rests anyway.

Sadly, the Le Creuset ceramic does not have much of a pedigree as it is all made in Thailand, but the design is there and still worth the money to me.

Decided it was time to grow up and stop putting dirty spoons, etc., on the counter/stovetop while cooking. This is the perfect size for all the standard cooking utensils and looks great in the kitchen. Easy to clean up and extremely functional.

Good spoon rest. I do not think I need to tell you that it serves its purpose; however I would only point out that it is not as heavy (1/2 lb) as I was expecting (yes, I know I should have checked the shipping weight). I was expecting something that weighs twice or three times its weight...but I guess that's my fault for not doing the due diligence. I would certainly still recommend this product, especially if you're matching your set :).

I keep it on the stove for spoons or spatulas when cooking! Looks great; washes in the dishwasher; and it's just the right size.

A very nice place to rest my spoon. Much better than a plate or napkin. Good look. Solid construction. I may buy a second for the other side of the stove.

Another lovely item from Le Creuset. It was larger than I expected and that is actually a plus. Same quality you would expect from Le Creuset.

This was extremely was made. It looks great in my kitchen along with the Le Creuset large utensil holder.
