this is the most helpful baker I own -- I use it for lasagna and small turkeys, for roasts and for baking -- it cleans easily (although its weight can be troubling when washing -- it also doesn't fit in my sink). It holds heat both well and evenly and can handle 500 degree heat with ease. This is one item that I would replace immediately if anything happened to it -- I don't feel that way about a lot of my kitchen gear.

What a wonderful baking dish! Everthing you cook in it is evenly browned and baked. A bit heavy but worth it.
