I love this mug. I love that it's lead and cadmium free, which is why I originally bought it (safety reasons). I drink tea a lot, so I don't want chemicals building up in my body. This is a great safe alternative to other mugs. Also, it's sooo aesthetically wonderful, and easy to use! The handle is not too thin or not too thick -- it's about 1.25 inches (handle hole) and the handle itself is 0.25 inches (handle part). The top of the cup is slightly flared, making drinking easier, and it's 3.5 inches wide. It's 4 inches tall. And it looks simple, elegant but durable. Love it! Very thankful and happy I could get it, thanks Amazon for offering this!

I purchased 4 of these mugs after looking at hundreds online. The color blue has several shadings making it look very rich. The mug has weight that gives it an expensive feel. Price at $10 is a great deal, especially after comparing it to so many others on several websites.

These are great mugs. With so many cheap products made these days, these are the exception. Le Creuset is a nice long lasting brand and the quality shows. Design is very well done and for such a large mug (12 ounces is quite a lot), it nicely in one hand.

It's well made. It's good looking. I got two sets of all the colors, but I wish there were more to choose from. Having multiple colors works well when we have visitors and everyone is milling around drinking coffee - you can identify your mug after leaving it temporarily.

Just a brief review, these mugs are awesome!!! These are the perfect size, hold the perfect amount of liquid, are made really well and look the part. Gotta hand it to Le Creuset for making these the perfect mug. The only negative, if you look at it as a negative, is that these are made in China and not France. Otherwise, the quality is superb and the looks are outstanding. I love these and will be ordering more.

I'm a fan of those big sturdy coffee shop mugs. Since I'm not into stealing or austerity, I decided to buy this to spoil myself. This is a big 12 ounce mug made of sturdy crockery with a good sized handle you can really grab, and it keep a large cup of coffee warm for a while (it does, after all, have an open top). It is a bit expensive, but I only really need one mug, so what's the difference? It's the most colorful thing in my barracks room, which is nice, because I like looking at the deep blue glaze. If you're a single dude who wants a mug to write home about, this is the one.

I purchased these in flame & fennel to give as a gift. The person I was buying them for only had one request for Christmas...anything as long as it's not made in China. I was really surprised (and embarrassed) to see the label on the bottom saying made in China :( My bad for not removing the bubble wrap and inspecting before wrapping! Otherwise a decent mug, colorful, sturdy, should keep the coffee hot and not break easily.

As for Amazon, I have yet to be disappointed. They consistently ship items fast and well packaged - I give them 5 stars!!

It is a great product. Actually using right now as I right this review. I purchased four of these mugs in different colors. They are a great size, quality and attractive.

This mug is great in every way! Lead and cadmium free... What more could you want. Heavy, but with a thin wall to sip from. Colors are pretty too. My husband got the cobalt-very rich. I picked red. It also comes in a clean white and apple green.

I love Le Creuset. I think they're well built and beautiful. I'm also a bit of a francophile. Just a bit.

That said, I bought this as a toothbrush holder. I hate how most toothbrush holders holes aren't wide enough for my brushes to fit into. Also, They're hard to clean. This is simple. I just toss my brush into it when I'm finished using it. Once in awhile I throw the mug into the dishwasher. Also, it looks classy and cute sitting on my tiny bathroom counter.

I haven't used it for hot beverages but imagine it would be fantastic as it is thick, sturdy but not heavy.
