This dish cleaned up very well after its first use. While I was using it the second time, it broke in the oven while using the broiler. Customer service was very accommodating though, and is sending another in the mail (you have to mail them the broken pieces).

I will make this short and sweet. I was baking some chicken in the oven and after about 30 minutes I here this sharp pop come from the oven. The dish cracked in half. First time I have every seen this happen in the oven. I have seen this occur with pyrex when you accidentally splash water on it when it is hot. This is not the situation here, it was just sitting in the oven cooking at 350.

This is a fine piece for making gratins. The contents cook evenly and brown, without unevenness or burning. It's large enough to serve a crowd.

I own this item in citrus and I love it so I decided to give one to my future daughter in law as a gift and it was on her bridal registry..
Nothing sticks in this pan..its easy to clean..it makes a great presentation...and it goes from Oven to Table...Love Love Love this dish!
Only Problem I have is..I didnt buy several for 19.00 each. Great Price Amazon!...thanks.

This item is a great size and quality. It worked really well for my holiday meals. I would not hesitate to buy more of it in the future.

In ref to one of the bad reviews about shipping, I've ordered other pieces of this line, and they arrived in tact, no breaking whatsoever. That person must have gotten the back luck of a packer who just did not care, just wanted to get it out fast.

I just love Le Creuset!!! Every product they make is pure quality!! I love this stoneware piece for its beautiful color and shape. I like to make tomato gratin and other gratins in this oval dish. These pieces bake food evenly and perfectly because of their heat retention. All of the Le Creuset pieces clean up instantly too!!! Baked on food just washes off, it's instant and no scrubbing, just soap and water will clean it perfectly.
You will love Le Creuset products, they are worth the money and you will end up donating all of your other bakeware because it will be inferior to Le Creuset!!!!

I love cooking in stoneware - this piece cracked in the oven the second time I used it. It was a crack that went through the entire piece leaving me with two halves.

The best thing about this is that food doesn't stain the inside. It's a generous size, and looks fairly elegant for a casserole dish!

I love this dish! I received it in white as a gift when I got married a few years ago. Just tonight, my goofy boxer decided to jump on the counter to eat the enchiladas out of it. A few seconds later it came crashing to the floor and broke into many pieces. I almost started to cry! Then I went online to see if I could find another for a decent price and Amazon has it!! I am so happy that I can replace it! I can't wait to get it in the mail! I use this dish for lots of things; baked pasta dishes, enchiladas, baked chicken, ANYTHING :) You won't be disappointed with the quality and design of this product!

This is a great chance to add some Le Creuset to your kitchen collection. The large size is great for serving groups. I use it as a baking dish, a serving platter, and an attractive storage vessel.
