I tried these little pie dishes out because a large pie is too much to have around. Our plum tree did great this summer, so I whipped up some pie dough and made a few small pies. They came out excellent, the crust was evenly browned, and this was the perfect size for my husband and I to split with some vanilla ice cream and no leftovers. I highly recommend these for large single serving pies, or to share.

Adorable, makes great little pot pies. The dots around the rim can make cleaning a little tough when something is baked on, but so cute I'll forgive them.

We purchased 4 of these petite pie dishes. All of our Le Creuset stoneware bakeware is the cherry red color. These pie dishes are beautiful on the outside, the cherry red gradient color is amazing; however the interior is very pale like an off white instead of the creamy beige color that is inside all our other pieces. It looks like it does not belong to the collection. I do wonder why they were not given the same great beige. We will use them, but we do not love with them, the interior looks like a knockoff or at best a seconds production. Unfortunately, these are disappointing, so 1 star given for the name brand, 1 star for the lovely exterior and one star for performance (the do bake well). 1 star taken away for the ugly interior color and 1 taken away for paying full price for them (they are depicted in the ad as having the same pretty deep beige as the other stoneware pieces).
