As with all my other pieces of Le Creuset, I'm thrilled. These pieces have heft but aren't too heavy. Cleanup can't be beat. Once you become a Le Creuset fan, you can't go back.

I own both this and actually a slightly smaller oval in red. They can go from oven to the table; the handles make for easy handling. Great not only for casseroles but also as small roasting pans for vegies, fish, cornish game hens etc. Have also used them for marinating foods and as prep dishes for breading and dipping foods.

Sorry but when did Le Crueset move production to Thailand. I have 2 pieces and while they function as promised, I won't be adding more to my collection. B4 anyone accuse me of being racist, let me state that I am Asian.
