Format: Mass Market Paperback
I purchased this book as a used copy. I cannot believe it is unknown and unheard of. This is one of the best religious mystery-thrillers ever written. The characters are greatly described, the story-line is so well written, you simply read page after page, not wanting for each chapter to end. The story deals with the mystery of Christ's death on the cross and it's consequences for the next 2,000 years. I wish Paul Kent would have written other books. I read about 60 books annually and The Crib is one of the best out there, a trully hidden treasure.

I read this book as a 16 year old. It was meant to be a horror story, but it totally destroyed me emotionally for years because of the Satanic representation of Jesus Christ as someone filled with so much hate that ended up killing people for 2 thousand years. It threw me into a long period of death-fearing atheism.

Only now have I found my way back to being a believer, but I ordered this book to read again just to see why I what it was that made such a horrific impression on me half a lifetime ago.

Okay. I had a friend lend me this book about 15+ years ago and enjoyed it very much. She would not let me keep it though and so I had been looking for my own copy for a long time. I was finally able to get this copy and after re-reading it; I still enjoyed it just as much. One of my most favorite books.
