Cricut color inks are a great idea that let you draw instead of cut out the shapes and letters from the cartridges you have. All you have to do is adjust the speed and pressure, and replace the blade carrier with the ink marker. It's a brilliant idea and the markers work well. You have to remove the marker right after your project, though, because you don't want it to dry out. I could see using this product for some of the cartridges especially, like the Disney Dream Come true and the Speaking of Fall, Winter... because they include more intricate shapes.

The writing is not fine enough. Not acceptable for use with text fonts. It does not make a pretty font at all. I really wish I had not bought it but then I would not have known.

The ink is really cool if you just want to draw. But since I have the cricut to scrapbook and make cards I don't really care too much about drawing, what I do care about is putting words in a shape (love inside a heart) which is what it can't do. So instead of spending $20 to make a really cool card I spent $20 to make coloring sheets for my kids.

This is a great addition to add to your cricut collection. It allows you to draw all the images words and phrases. Great for messages inside cards, embrodiery parren making. scrapbook titles, embellishment making etc.. and at 5.25 its a real bargain.

Mu husband got me this set for my birthday and I have had a lot of fun playing with them with my Cricut. They had a fun, colorful outline to your die cuts.
I can't wait to get another set. :)

LIke another reviewer, I mostly use my cricut for lettering. As expected, the cricut outlines the letters when you put in the pen rather than the cutting blade. These pens don't have a sharp tip, so the result is sort of fuzzy. I wish Provo Craft would come out with a cartridge specifically for drawing fonts!

I love the idea of these markers. They work great, but I wish they would make a finer line. Some of the designs that I would like to draw are too intricate. It does help if you set the pressure and blade depth setting as indicated on the packaging , but even then the lines are a little broader than I would like. Good for larger images or lettering.

I thought I would be able to use the pens for invitations I was creating, however they were too thick to write what I needed. I think they would work for projects that use larger lettering, but huge disappointment for my invitations.

they work great and it was what i was looking for at a much less price.
they work great easy to use too.
i will use them a lot also.

I've been playing with them quite a bit. They are great for those projects that you want to experiment with before you cut them out.
