Cricut color inks are a great idea that let you draw instead of cut out the shapes and letters from the cartridges you have. All you have to do is adjust the speed and pressure, and replace the blade carrier with the ink marker. It's a brilliant idea and the markers work well. You have to remove the marker right after your project, though, because you don't want it to dry out. I could see using this product for some of the cartridges especially, like the Disney Dream Come true and the Speaking of Fall, Winter... because they include more intricate shapes.

The writing is not fine enough. Not acceptable for use with text fonts. It does not make a pretty font at all. I really wish I had not bought it but then I would not have known.

The ink is really cool if you just want to draw. But since I have the cricut to scrapbook and make cards I don't really care too much about drawing, what I do care about is putting words in a shape (love inside a heart) which is what it can't do. So instead of spending $20 to make a really cool card I spent $20 to make coloring sheets for my kids.
