Even after reading the reviews I purchased this carrier for my Cricut. I have both the original Cricut and the bigger Expressions. I figured if I could not get the Expressions to fit I could at least put the smaller one in it. I unzipped the ends to "expand the bag" all the way out. I was able to put the Expression inside through the front flap, but it was a tight fit. Just so happen I glanced over at the instruction book and noticed that was an "option 2" after reading, I realized you can actually slide the machine in the bag though the end, think of a doggie carrier. It is really hidden but, on the right hand edge of the bag, inside the "seam" is a zipper. Unzip this and the right end of the bag opens up and the Expression slides in and out with out having to unzip the front flap.

Like others have already mentioned you cannot store your mats or cartidge cases but if you just need something to carry your machine in to crops this is perfect.

I am actually going to buy another one for my smaller cricut.

A very nice bag and it may be just perfect for the original Cricut machine but it is too small for the new Cricut Expression. To be fair, the machine does fit with the bag ends expanded, but the zipper opening is so tight it would be easy to rip the zipper or drop the machine trying to shove it in.

The bag isn't padded as one might expect and there are not enough pockets for a machine that has more accessories than should be allowed.

Save your money and buy a gym bag.

I bought the Cricut bag for my mom, since he just got her cricut machine and she didn't really have a storage place for it. I was a little dissapointed when she called me to tell me the cricut didn't fit in the bag. I told her that was impossible. She didn't realize at first that she had to unzip the bag to make it bigger. in any case, when I tried to fit the Cricut inside the bag while it's fully expanded... it wasn't an easy task. I wish the opening was a little wider. that's my only complaint. Other wise it was great.... Oh yeah, and I had to take out the bottom cardboard support thing in order to fit the cricut into the bag

My wife received her cricut machine for Christmas and quickly determined she needed something to haul it around in. This shoulder bag is sturdy, very svelt, and is the perfect size for her machine and accessories.

I just bought this bag for a second time as I had given away my first bag. THIS bag DOES have the hidden zipper!! If you have the logo facing you, the hidden zipper is found on the end to the right. You have to unzip the expansion zipper and then little black zipper is there. I swear my first bag didn't have that!! (But I might not have been looking in the right spot.) I certainly wouldn't have known to even look for it without the other person's review saying their bag has this. I added photos of the zipper and showing how it unzips to provide an end flap for sliding in an Expression machine. The photos are added to the "Customer Photos" for this item. Note: The packaging does NOT mention anything about this zipper being there. (Which seems kind of odd to me.)

I love the bag, nice and lightweight and fits like a glove. Has a short handle or over the shoulder. I would not use it for the cricut expression, it fits but it is a very tight fit and felt as if you really needed two people to put it in. Although the smaller cricut fits well and easy to pack up.

Like others I have a lot of trouble fitting the Expression into this bag. The problem is that even with the end zippers opened that it is a workout to get the machine into the bag. Once it is in the bag it is nice...the cords fit in the opening and it zips closed no problem, but if you want to get it out, then it is another workout. I can imagine this would work just fine for the original Cricut, but there are better bags out there for it.
If you plan on doing a lot of traveling with your Expression, you would probably appreciate a different bag that is easier to work with. I use mine mainly for keeping dust off when I have it stored away in my craft room, so it does the job for me most of the time. I'm still on the lookout for a bag that will work for traveling that will fit my Expression and my cartridges, too.
I give the bag 3 stars because it is a sturdy, well-made bag that does fit the Expression and cords, but it needs a larger opening (or the opening at one of the ends) to make it easier to get the Expression in and out of the bag.

This bag is perfect for the cricut expession when fully opened up. It is durable, has nice carry straps and very easy slide in/out on the side like a doggy carrier. My only grumble is that this item was listed "new" but the bottom insert was bent, had stains and smelled like must oddly and thakfully the bag itself doesnt have any problems or I wouldve shipped it back. The insert is unusable which wouldve given form and rigidty to the bag. I plan on making a solid fleece lined insert for it. The bag is roomy giving space for extra blade, matt or a couple small tools.

I bought this for my wife for Christmas who uses her Cricut not only at home but on the road.

I saw several 3rd party bags but I felt Cricut was such a good company that they wouldn't sell or endorse something that didn't meet their standards.

My wife loves it and uses it a lot. It's stylish and rugged. Just what she needed.
