GREAT HILL/SPENCER EFFORT.,
By mark (Canada) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Crime Busters [VHS] (VHS Tape)
Now, this is a great film, much better than "Odds and Evens" and slightly better than "Go for It".....terence hill and bud spencer's better movies...the plot is 2 guys, matt kirby and wilbur walsh are sick of having no money and they are too lazy to get a job...so they want to rob a crocery store. When they jump in the back door of the building, they jump into the police recruitment office....pretty good movie to get people to like terence hill and bud spencer, but their 2 best movies are "Watch out, We're Mad!" (this is thier BEST movie no matter what! ) and of course, thier silliest outing, "I'm for the Hippopotamus". It's too bad these great films werent released in the united states!

One of the greatest films ever,
By A Customer
This review is from: Crime Busters [VHS] (VHS Tape)
Terence hill & Bud spencer star in this hilarious comedy about a runaway sailor (Hill) and an out of work fat bloke (Spencer), they meet whilst looking for work at the docks and soon get into all kinds of funny situations, they end up bungling a robbery at a supermarket, joining the police force in the process, then smash a drug smuggling ring. The film is funny throughout. Highly reccomended. END

One of Spencer/Hill's funniest films!! A must for fans!,
By A Customer
This review is from: Crime Busters [VHS] (VHS Tape)
Non-fans may find this film too corny compared to the Trinity films, but that's why they are not fans! For me, this film is definitely one of Terence Hill and Bud Spencer's best. The opening sequences are priceless, and are followed by episode after episode of hilarious slapstick. Only at some parts toward the end does the pacing of the film feel a bit slack, but this is a film with everything fans could want from a modern Spencer/Hill film.
