4.0 out of 5 stars Solid Info on Using GIS for Crime Mapping, January 11, 2005
By
This review is from: Crime Mapping (Studies in Crime and Punishment, V. 8.) (Paperback)
It was a fairly easy read cover to cover for a map geek like me. I purchased this book to get up to speed on the unique characteristics of crime mapping as opposed to other types of GIS analysis. It was good to find that I already knew how to do the majority of functions mentioned but I would still recommend having this in your library. The reference websites listed in this book are great! Wish the maps were in color...I would have paid a little more for that, but it is still a great reference book and a must have for the GIS crime mapper!
