This book is textbook to be used for a Criminal Justice class. It explains all the processes very plainly and easy to read.

I recieved my book quickly and was very pleased. The little highlighting that was in the book actually helped me in my class....lol!

The book arrived fast and was in mint condition. I have spent less amount of money by ordering from amazon than buying from a book store.

It was shipped and received quickly and was exactly what I needed. I appreciate the help. Would purchase from again.

The condition of the book was exactly as stated, that is not the issue.

The issue is the shipping. I ordered the book on January 20th and did not receive it until February 17th!!! Amazon clearly states that shipping will take 4-14 business days upon checkout. That is a fair definition of STANDARD shipping. EVERYTHING I have ordered from Amazon no matter where it is coming from has arrived sooner than that. This shipper does not use standard shipping but rather uses MEDIA MAIL. THIS IS NOT THE SAME THING! This is the SLOWEST service that the post office offers.

Due to the low shipping I had to purchase ANOTHER book for my class. When I spoke to the seller, she said that she would refund my money less a restocking fee - for HIS error and MISCOMMUNICATION! I was fortunate enough to find another seller who was more than happy to work with me and the second book I had to purchase.

I will NEVER do business with this seller again and recommend the same to others. I expect the items I purchse to be shipped in the manner I select, if not then I expect GREAT customer service to make the problem right. That is what selling and retail is all about - CUSTOMER SERVICE.

Just because the prices are great does not mean it is worth the hassle. If you can wait a month for your book, go for it. If not, go to another seller.
