Vancouver Police Officers D. Campbell & C. Arial participate in the Cops For Cancer bike ride. Their goal of raising $12,000 led them to collect a number of dessert recipes to make a cookbook and they were soon joined by Engage Books and plenty of volunteers. This book is a result of their joint effort to raise money for charity. The authors will donate their royalties & Engage Books will donate all proceeds from the sale of this book to the Canadian Cancer Society.

Funds raised by Cops for Cancer go towards the best pediatric cancer research in Canada and programs that help children and families like Camp Goodtimes.

I just bought this book, and made two of the desserts with the help of my two little boys. The recipes are fun and easy, and taste real good. The Peppermint Chocolate Mouse is amazing!!! And it all goes to a great cause! Does that offset the calories :)
