I've been professional in this area for over 8 years, and this book is an excellent review of American criminal procedure. Unlike other textbooks, it's not filled with the usual academic drivel. It cuts to the chase, and informs the professional in law enforcement of what he or she needs to know about everything from search and seizure to confession law. It's very well done.
