This review is from: Criminal Justice?: The Legal System Versus Individual Responsibility (Hardcover)
Editor Robert Bidinotto has compiled a collection of articles written by the experts in the field of criminal justice.
Modern criminal justice practices through codified law and procedure have allowed loopholes for perpetrators of some of the most heinous criminal acts walk free. Bidinotto, seeking an answer to these problemic loopholes, sought out the treatises of contemporary criminal justice scholars to answer the most arduous contemporary problems plaguing our system. Broken down into three sections: (I) Crime: Who's Responsible; (II) The Flight From Responsibility; and (III) Restoring Responsibility, the text at slightly less than <300 pages, contains eighteen thought provoking treatises. With a moving forward from John Walsh, the Host of "America's Most Wanted," this text is a must for any Criminal Justice Administration library. I rate this text at five stars. JP |
