Excellent read!
Great book! I thought it was well written. Author gives lots of great examples from real life! Excellent textbook!

VERY Misrepresented
I was very disapointed with this product from this seller. I have had an entire class of 18 people who all purchased this book on Amazon and not one had a problem... except for me. I order a "like new" book and it came to me with almost every paage heavily highlighted and a very bent and beat up cover.

This is a very clearly written concise textbook and of all of the required books from my UC Berkeley paralegal course, this one is the best. Some have been quite disorganized, and one in particular, riddled with typographical errors. This book is actually enjoyable to read.

like new does not mean heavy highlighting,

When I ordered the book, the description said "like new". I expected some highlighting, but not highlighting over 30%(+/-) of the book. That was a disappointment. I would not have been as disappointed if the description had read "heavy highlighting;good condition otherwise". However, I will purchase again. Delivery was prompt; and I passed it on to a fellow student.
