This book provides an excellent general overview of all major Criminological theories. It is great for graduate students needing concise descriptions of the theories, or for undergraduates who are being introduced to the theories for the first time. If you are looking for a lengthy description of only one or two specialized theories I recommend reading the theorists' original works.
