This book as been very helpful to my son, Jonathan, who is studying criminology with the hopes of becoming an investigator after graduation from college.

Received the book in a timely fashion and in great condition for having been a used book. Would definitely purchase from seller again.

This book was in good condition but I had to get it for my criminology class. It has bigger words, shorter chapters and it is a little easier to understand than most sociology books. By that I mean its not an overwhelming amount of material in each chapter. I am a sociology major and so far this book is very good for this class.

This book treats a subject that could be very dry and uninteresting with a lot of fascinating examples and sidebars of different subjects like cults, gangs, or other rarely-dealt with topics. This is a book I'd peruse leisurely if it wasn't a fast-paced summer course with a demanding teacher.
