I enjoyed how easy the text is to read and it has concepts in bold etc. It was very informative and covered the material very well. lots of resources from the publisher were helpful too. I did however feel like the text was written like a High School text book, and didn't seem to be advanced enough for a college course. but regardless it was a good resource for my criminology class

book is what it said it was in the description was priced fairly and wi would do buisness with again

This book was required as part of an "Intro to Criminology" course at a local community college. The course relied 100% on this book, and I can now see why. The authors skillfully survey the field of criminology in a relevant and easy to read manner. The book was recently updated, so the examples presented brought the concepts to real-life.

It's a textbook, so not something that you might pick up before going to bed. Still, it was well-written and not boring to read.

Many books on criminology can overwhelm you with information. This makes it very difficult to finish a book and to grasp the information it contains. However the author did a great job at presenting the information in a readable format. It was easy to comprehend and recall. It was full of real life examples which helps the material seem more relevant and useable.

I think this book is awesome because it has tons of extras for fun learning instead of just boring same old same old facts!

The book came early, right on time for my class and it was in perfect condition.

this is a great book that takes you through many theories, statistics, stories and the affect of criminal behavior in the present as well as the past. a must have if you are interested in the study of sociology, criminology or both.

My purchase was very expensive, however, it is not the correct edition. I believe the sellers should be sure to list the edition of a textbook when describing it. It is very important and books may have the same name and the same author, but different editions. So we should be very careful when deciding on a book.
