Better than most movie scores today!!,

This composer probably has very likely put himself on the A list of game composers after producing an orchestral bliss like this soundtrack is. I really can't believe that this music is for a game. I would keep the game on the menus on purpose just to listen to some of this incredible music. I find that I am hearing more originality and talent in the game music scene now instead of the film music scene. I offer this CD to you as the latest example of that, right up there with Jeremy Soule, Bill Brown, Micheal Giacchino, et al. Simply some of the best symphonic, original orchestral work I have purchased in several years, easily.

Best game music ever!,

This is amazing - not too long ago it seemed inconceivable that a game soundtrack could come anywhere close in quality to a movie soundtrack. The music for Crimson Skies better than most movies, on par with the best. John Williams, eat your heart out - Stan LePard has arrived!

The music behind the game is truely thematic for the setting. If you enjoyed playing the game then the soundtrack to your gaming experience only adds to the collection. Each track can bring you back to the fun (or stress) of each moment, bringing back the beautiful scenes and amazing dogfight action! It's unfortunate that few tracks exceed the 2:00 minute mark but with over 30 tracks to the disk, this is easily overlooked.
The DVD disk was utterly disappointing as it provided nothing to the fan that could add to the setting of the game. All it provides is a audio track of the main sequence song that is longer than any of the CD tracks. Why this disk is included is a head-scratcher, and why the song on the DVD was not on the Audio CD is also bothersome. Regardless of the DVD, the entire package is worth the investment to the collector/gamer.
