5.0 out of 5 stars Excellent Laser-- Indispensable for your Compact Carry Kahr., August 27, 2010
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: Crimson Trace Laserguard for Kahr Cw9, Cw40, P9, P40, Pm9, Pm40, Tp9, Tp40 (Sports)
Although I doubt and pray my carry 9mm would ever see the light of day in a real-life situation, I want to do everything I can to make sure I have an edge if I needed to use it. I clean it, I practice, I load good ammo into it, I don't leave home without it. This Crimson Trace product is really a great addition, and helps me feel comfortable that I can put a shot on target quickly, from my weak hand, from an undesirable angle, or any other less than optimal shooting scenario that bad luck and chaos probably would throw my way. If it's a straight strong side shot? You can draw, acquire, and fire in about a second. Nice.

The laser feels well made, is accurate out of the box, a cinch to install, and looks like it belongs on the gun (I have a PM9). I purchased a couple of holsters from Kahr (both Mitch Rosens which I highly recommend) to accommodate the laser and I'm in business. Can't say enough good things about the Crimson Trace. Hard to go wrong.

One caveat? Keep practicing without it. While this laser can give you a great edge in a fight, you'd be crazy to let your good old 'analog' shooting skills go down the drain.

4.0 out of 5 stars To the point., June 15, 2011

This review is from: Crimson Trace Laserguard for Kahr Cw9, Cw40, P9, P40, Pm9, Pm40, Tp9, Tp40 (Sports)
Ordered this for a Kahr P9/PM9 to test. After receiving, installation was literally a snap and two screws. Fits seamless and performs. As there is no main switch, it's a forget until needed tool. The adjustment to point of aim for me was 10 meter. Thus far maintained zero. Only 4 stars due to price.
Pro: Fast-straight forward installation, One-Handed / Two-Handed grip possible. Fit and function on the Kahr as expected for this price.

Con: Pricy. Needs new holsters or for Kydex holsters a remold. Parallax (due to principle of this type of aiming device).

5.0 out of 5 stars Works great, May 9, 2011

Laser is bright and nearly dead on out of the box. Only issue I am having is the plastic on the laser at bottom-inside of trigger guard is sharp and after repeated firings starts to cut into trigger finger on the Kahr PM9. Some light sanding will take care of this so it is only a minor complaint.

5.0 out of 5 stars works as advertized, November 20, 2010

I have used the crimson trace on several occasions. After approximately 400 rounds fired it is still working satisfactorily. You must be careful not to let your grip extend to the front of trigger guard or you will spoil the alignment of the laser. If you do it is easy to reset the alignment. Upon installation the laser was perfectly aligned with the gun for 50 feet. ]I highly recommend this product [[ASIN:B001P9JJNO Crimson Trace Laserguard for Kahr Cw9, Cw40, P9, P40, Pm9, Pm40, Tp9, Tp40]

5.0 out of 5 stars Great productfor the Kahr CM9., January 7, 2012

This review is from: Crimson Trace Laserguard for Kahr Cw9, Cw40, P9, P40, Pm9, Pm40, Tp9, Tp40 (Sports)
I got this item on time with Amazon Prime 2-day shipping. It came in the standard CTC box with all of the required installation items. Installation took about three minutes and then another two minutes to sight the laser in at 25'. It came pre-sighted pretty well, about 5" to the right and 2" low. I've read/heard reviews that said this model was designed for the PM9 and fits loosely on the CM9, but this was not the case with my CM9. It fits perfectly and holds the sighting well. I would definitely recommend this item to anyone looking for a laser sight for the Kahr CM9.

I love the Crimson Trace laser for the Kahr CW9. It makes shooting the little gun fun and easy. I can actually hit where I am aiming. Installation was a snap and adjusting the sight was relatively painless. I already own another Crimson Trace laser for a Ruger 22 and would definetely recommend them to both new shooters and experienced ones as well.

The Crimson Trace Laserguard fit my Kahr P9 perfectly, and the laser was easy to adjust. It took only seconds to get the laser dot to line up with my point of aim and point of impact. The laser spot is very bright and can be seen in the daylight. The only issue I've had with the sight was finding a holster that would fit the Kahr P9 with the Laserguard attached; no easy feat! When you look at holsters, be sure to order one configured for a Laserguard.

I bought this for my PM9. Installation was a breeze and everything needed to install this was provided. Appearance wise, it looks like part of the handgun and not an add-on. The beam spot is a little larger than I expected but not an issue and is very bright. I haven't been to the range yet to see what it takes to sight it in but the idea is to be able to aim without the need to use the hard sites. My PM9 is now the ideal CCW piece. AND the price from Amazon with the manufacturers rebate is excellent.
