Most Helpful Customer Reviews

1 of 1 people found the following review helpful By Richard S. Courson on February 7, 2006
Format: Paperback
A neat book giving details of the early area difficult to find elsewhere. Jan has a great writing style that's informative and easy to read and her book contains many vintage photos with views I have not previously seen. I just wish there was more! Nice meeting you at the Monarch!

Richard Courson,

Victor Colorado

I am a native of Colorado and found the book fascinating as my uncle lost his life in one of the mines. I have been looking for more history on Cripple Creek and this book was great.

About half way through this book the pages started to fall out. The pictures and information are informative even if the photos are rather small.
