Ok~I realize for $30.00 I am not getting top of the line, BUT, I could have gotten something much nicer at Claires in the mall...for $5.00. I was so excited to get this, because it looks adorable online, and I looked it up on other sites and it was 3 times the price, so I thought I was getting a great bargain. What I received was a nice padded box (that had to be cleaned up before giving it as a gift) and the necklace that had work to be done on it as well. The charm that says "sugar" was very pretty and shiny, the charm that says "spice" was tarnished and brownish red in color. So sad, I had no time to get a new gift, as we were having our Christmas with family early...and I had no tarnish remover...what I did do was gently rub toothpaste on it to scrub away the tarnish. Worked well and looked nice after I cleaned up the dirty box. BUT...how long will it be before my gift recipient's necklace turns brown again. Very dissapointing.

I am so disappointed. I bought all the women in my family a piece from the Crislu "Statements" line. Out of the 7 pieces, 2 of them (Naughty & Nice and Sugar & Spice) are tarnished because of the missing protective covering. I'm pleased with the other items; they were nice and shiny...because they were protected by the plastic covering.

Amazon.com, are you still selling items that others returned for the same imperfections? I'm going to return them and reorder them. Please send me replacements that are not tarnished.
