This cd has a great collection of Spanish Guitar classics from the masters (Juan Serrano, Isaac Albeniz, Paco de Lucia, Andres Segovia) and some great contemporary artists, as well. This soundtrack is fun, playful and sometimes blatantly passionate, bringing back great memories from Woody Allen's sexy film. Makes for delightful background music at parties, good company in the car or to be enjoyed with great focus on the ipod. I received this cd 3 weeks ago and I haven't been able to stop listening to it!!!

After seeing the movie, I had to check out the soundtrack to keep the romantic vibe from the movie going! I was not disappointed! Great music, all different and yet it all works.

The music creates a gorgeous tapestry for the film. The music and film represent unbridled passion, emotion, and romance. I love it.

This is just a great soundtrack - I love all the tracks on the CD and our 3 year-old wants it played all the time now - she loves to dance to it. Woody Allen consistently has incredible soundtracks for his movies and this one is no exception to the rule.

You really can feel the movie spirit while you listen to this soundtrack. The songs are awesome and really well chosen. You also can just play the album while you have a good conversation and drink a good wine with some friends or even in a more intimate moment with your girl or boyfriend. I do reccomend it!

after watching this movie the soundtrack didn't come out of my mind..... cause it's so gentle, tender and romantic that you wish to keep it inside you.......

it's also good to listen it together with the girl that you care about.... cause she gets in the romantic mood of wine and roses and exoctic places of the movie and them the night is young......

buy this soundtrack..... you won't regret having it at home.....

The original jazz numbers on the Vicki Christina Barcelona soundtrack are exotically brilliant. Right away I wanted to find more of the same type of music. I already have a lot of Albeniz, DeFalla, etc. on guitar and harp, but the gypsy flavor of the new originals is beyond cool...actually it's pretty hot at times.

I was hooked from the opening song of the movie, and ordered the cd as soon as I got home. If you love Spanish Catalan music, go for it!

Whether or not you like the movie (I do) you'll certainly want to order the soundtrack immediately after seeing the film. It would have been an entirely different movie with different music. Assuming you like gorgeous, lilting guitars and Spanish & Gypsy jazz, you couldn't possibly be disappointed. FYI, one of my favorite pieces on the soundtrack ("Big Brother") can also be found on a recording by the artist: Gypsy Rumble, the new release from The Stephane Wremble Trio with special guest David Grisman. Not only is Wremble a phenomenal guitarist but if you don't know about David Grisman, you haven't heard just how hard a mandolin can swing. Love this film. Incredible cast and the acting is fantastic. Penelope Cruz is hysterical. If you like Woody Allen, you'll love this one. Xavier Bardem is also a pleasure to look at.
