About the Author
Ted Simendinger is a former comedian and comedy writer. His first edition of "Critters, Fish & Other Troublemakers" (Airplane Reader Publishing, 2000, $19.95) sold out in just five weeks and is being read by many professional athletes across the American sports scene.
The author is also a former newspaper reporter. He succintly writes of people, places and things from his travels all around the world. "Critters" is a laugh-out-loud short story collection. The complete book itself contains 35 stories (316 pages & hardback; while the comedic Laugh-Out-Loud audio cassette version includes 10 of his favorites from the book, plus sound effects).
The author just recently returned from a State Department-sanctioned trip to Cuba, where he played competitive baseball against the Cubans. The trip marked his 8th year playing overseas. Two previous adventures (China & Russia)are in the book version of Critters. His upcoming Cuban story will be in his planned fourth book, with a hoped-for release date of spring, 2002.
