WHY THESE GUYS DIDNT GET THE ATTENTION THAT THE SPOONFUL OR THE LEFT BANKE,THEIR CONTEMPORARIES, IS A HEAD SCRATCHER..PROBABLY BECAUSE THEIR LABEL,KAPP,FAMOUS FOR UNDER PROMOTION, FAILED TO PUSH THESE JERSEY PRODIGIES INTO THE LIGHT. THEY RECORDED JUST ONE AMAZING LP FOR KAPP, THEN 2 ALBUMS ON PROJECT 3 RECORDS WHICH ARE SO RARE I HAVE ONLY SEEN 1 COPY IN 40 YEARS!! You won't have to mortgage your house to buy this Critters' CD, which is basically the "Anthology" CD...with extra tracks!!! Sure, the artwork is a bit cheesy and whoever did the layout on the back claims this to be The Critters' "Grestest" Hits, but the sound quality is very good (not quite excellent) and you get some really hard to find Critters' tunes...so, yes, 60s' afficianados, this is a MUST HAVE!!!! PARTY ON, DUDES AND DUDETTES!!!
