Cro-Mags DVD, Live In The Age Of Quarrel, February 21, 2007
This review is from: Cro-Mags: Live in the Age of Quarrel (1986-2001) (DVD)
'86 to '01 is a long time for a band, but after watching this DVD you'd think that the Cro-Mags only have one album. All of the material from the various shows represented are from the first LP, with one song from the second appearing in one of the sets. I think the DVD would be more appropriately named "The Age Of Quarrel Live" or something like that.
All of the live footage is camcorder quality, and there's a couple of extras like the video for "We Gotta Know" and some clips from a movie in which the band appears. If you're a Cro-Mags freak, go for it!

historic but not that great, November 7, 2007
This review is from: Cro-Mags: Live in the Age of Quarrel (1986-2001) (DVD)
this is a collection of recording not great one over the years, different incaration of the cro-mags,many times no parris,no mackie but pete hines at the kit.doug holland, john bloodclott, harley, rocky george,ex-bad brain members filling in nothing in the dvd as far as band members is solid but If you like it dose cover alot of ground but don't expect too much it's not much more than historic the way it was shot and sometime the proformances are not very good either I'd recomend the final quarrel it much better done and the harly's war set is quite good.

Don't expect 5.1 audio quality or a crystal clear picture ... this is raw, hardcore, July 23, 2007
This review is from: Cro-Mags: Live in the Age of Quarrel (1986-2001) (DVD)
- Live In The Age Of Quarrel (1986-2001) contains the video for "We Gotta Know", the 2 live songs from the movie "The Beat" where the Cro-Mags are going under the alias of "Iron Skulls" and we see them play two songs: "It's The Limit" and "Hard Times" (the material was later used to create the "We Gotta Know" video), 3 songs recorded live at The Ritz in 1986, the complete reunion show at CBGB's in 2001 and 2 songs recorded in Washington DC in 2001; don't expect 5.1 audio quality or a crystal clear picture ... this is raw, hardcore Cro-Mags.
