Detailed Account of Croatian Forces and Battles, November 21, 2004
This review is from: For Croatia & Christ: The Croatian Army in World II, 1941-1945 (Hardcover)
Antonio Munoz has produced an immensly detailed account of the make-up, structure and equipment of the Croatian Army and its various military units in World War II.
This is the first English language book to illuminate this interesting subject and I found that the author doesn't pull any punches when dealing with the various issues that the Croatians found themselves having to contend with at various stages of the conflict.
I found it to be very well illustrated with many unit and order-of-battle tables, maps of operations and rare photos.

Aaron Aden is using the review section for political reasons!, September 1, 2006
This review is from: For Croatia & Christ: The Croatian Army in World II, 1941-1945 (Hardcover)
First of all, I resent very much that one of my books has been used by an obviously biased individual, such as Aaron Aden, when speaking of the atrocities that occurred in World War II Yugoslavia. While I cover the activities of the Ustashe in Yugoslavia, I also mention atrocities carried out by the Serbian fanatics as well as Muslims. In addition, Mr. Aden states that I mention a figure of 1 million people killed in Jasenovac. THIS IS AN OUT AND OUT LIE ON Mr. ADEN'S PART. I mentioned a figure, but not 1 million. This all leads me to conclude that Mr. Aden's agenda of ANTI-CROATIAN activities has led him to mislead people into believeing that my book on the Military History of Croatia in World War II is biased. On the contrary, the noted military historian, Dr. Hans Werner Neulen, has written that my book is one of the most objective (not subjective) studies written on wartime Yugoslavia. SHAME ON YOU, Aaron Aden, for using a book review for your own political agenda!!

Get Real, June 3, 2008
This review is from: For Croatia & Christ: The Croatian Army in World II, 1941-1945 (Hardcover)
Don't write a review on your own book, Munoz! I'd like to report that Antonio J. Munoz is a respected author. However, he feels and exhibits the need to write unfair, demeaning and unfounded reviews about competitive historical works in order to promote his own. With those kinds of tactics, what credibility and integrity can be invested into the works he produces? Sadly, not much.
