This is a wonderful book for struggling readers
I teach a program for ninth graders in an inner city district in New Jersey who are reading below grade level. They universally love these Animal Attack books. They are interesting but written on a level which is accessible to them. We have Bear Attacks, Rat Attacks, Croc and Gator Attacks, Shark Attacks, and Wild Dog Attacks. The kids who read them are between fourteen...

Neither helpful nor informative, contains a lot of well-known facts as well as unproven and unreal informations. not worth the money.

I teach a program for ninth graders in an inner city district in New Jersey who are reading below grade level. They universally love these Animal Attack books. They are interesting but written on a level which is accessible to them. We have Bear Attacks, Rat Attacks, Croc and Gator Attacks, Shark Attacks, and Wild Dog Attacks. The kids who read them are between fourteen and sixteen. These are NOT books for smaller kids, though, because they are a little bit scary. (My five year old got one and is now scared to go in the water because of sharks!)
