Crochet With Heart Best Loved Afghans is a step-by-step, easy to use book, with detailed instructions on all stitches included in the back of the book. The color schemes and some unusual patterns that make the use of cross stitching on the afghans can be found in this book. The only down side of this book is that some of the patterns might run over onto another page with another afghan pattern.

I purchased this book at a local hobby store. It has a lot of classic style patterns. I've created several from this book and hope to do more. I'd recommend this book to beginners and advanced crocheters.

Best Loved Afghans contains a wide variety of patterns including a few for baby, a couple seasonal styles, and a range from very casual to some more formal styles. There are some I can't wait to make and others I don't care for at all. The color photographs are quite helpful in project selection, although some of the colors appear to be a little off.

I've created 2 afghans from this book and plan to do more. It has a nice variety of afghan choices.

I absolutely love my Afghan book! I have made several projects already.
The Kaleidoscope was my favorite project. I worked with other painted yarns in teals and purples. The result was a great play of colors.
I also made a beautiful Braided Miles Afghan in white, blue, and purple. Being a mile-a-minute afghan, I was able to create it while on a car trip. :)
If you are looking for a Afghan pattern book with a variety of projects including mile-a-minute and motif, this is a great place to start.

i was given this book and i found that many of the patterns were repeats from other books that i have. i dont feel that the book is organized well and some of the patterns are worded as well as they could be and i had to pull it out and start over and improvise a bit to make it look correct.
interesting one that has pine tree and raindeer boarder, one with vines, one with hot air balloons and an awesome noah's ark one i havent tried yet.
a few require sewing with yarn.
and there are ALOT OF UGLY ONES and some of the colors they picked for the ugly ones are rediculous color combos.

I've been looking for a certain pattern and it was in the book. The only thing I did not like was that I had to order the book and pray that the pattern was in there, wish there were pictures of all the patterns shown.
